Set on the piazza in Devonshire Green, the City’s beautiful open grassy space, Memo Market will be the ultimate gathering place for the brands of Sheffield to join together. The perfect way to give a little love and appreciation to what makes the City special.
Memo Market will be filled with the familiar faces and names of your favourite brands and products. Think of the names and items that have sprung out of in and around the city that you may see everyday… from food, drink, fashion, music, art, craft, jewellery, favourite places and venues. They will all be represented and all keen to share their stories and products. Due to the vibrant mix of people involved in Memo Market the Devonshire Green piazza will be an exciting and exhilarating place to spend a morning or afternoon over one of the two days or both!
Visitors to the market will be able to peruse their favourite ‘must-have’ items to take away or become re -acquainted with brands of the city and enrich and prolong their memories of Sheffield. It’s the perfect place to spend a summer’s day in amongst the creative and stylish talents of Sheffield’s finest.
Coinciding with the final two days of Sheffield University’s graduation week and the ‘Sheffield – Music City’ festival which launches on Wednesday Night Live the day before, the city is set to be transformed into a hive of activity.
Memo Market is all about celebrating what we have in the City – and what makes people outside of the City automatically reminded of Sheffield. It’s a way of showing our support and appreciation to them – but it’s also a way to bring an extra special feel good factor into our Sheffield Summer.
