Compagnie Beau Geste’s (France) Transports Exceptionnels

Friday 26 September at 1.30pm & Saturday 27 September at 11am and 1pm

Devonshire Green, Sheffield City Centre

Free outdoor event, Booking not required, 20 minute show, Suitable for ALL ages

Opening the Danceworks Autumn 08 Season in partnership with Dance Umbrella and Sheffield City Council is a very special company from France, Beau Geste with Transports Exceptionnels — a simply stunning work by Dominique Boivin for one Man and his 13 tonne Digger, accompanied by the unmistakable voice of Maria Callas.

A playful yet rugged love duet, Transports Exceptionnels captures an unexpected moment of grace between fragile man and indestructible machine that’s family friendly and FREE!

Presented in partnership with Dance Umbrella and Sheffield City Council, this event also celebrates the Cultural Olympiad launch weekend.

The Forum bar will be providing outside catering and drinks all day on the Forum's Devonshire terrace!
